RESILIENCY ROOMS

THE GOAL

Let's create a space where our students can build the skills needed to recover from the noise and emotional challenges of their day. A place of peace within your school, home or classroom where children and teens can develop a heightened sense of mental resiliency, mind-body awareness, emotional self-regulation and motivation. A room for resiliency helps students feel better equipped to solve problems, achieve academic success and maintain a state of healthy Social-Emotional Development.

WHY IT MATTERS

Research shows that children who have a safe space to recover from setbacks and can emotionally self-regulate are less likely to bully others, commit suicide and suffer from mental illness later on in life. They tend to be more ambitious, healthy and have a general sense of optimism.

Together, we can create a space to empower our students...let's get started!

Collaboration

Meet Principal Morgan, a stand out leader in education who made room for wellness at her school with the innovative idea to convert an old copy room to a room of resilience!

Her partnership with Great Day Academics, LLC led to a restorative space in her school where students could turn things around when they're feeling down.

Coming Soon... hear how her staff and students responded to their new space.

MAKE IT MORE THAN A ROOM

Build Resilience

Creating a Resiliency Room is more than making a space of comfort and calming design. Your children or students can learn important lessons that will help them throughout their lifetime. Ask how your class or students can sign up for live resiliency lessons each month from a teacher who is certified in emotional self-regulation and stress management.
