THE POWER OF YOUR GUT
Decision-making lessons that teach the persistence and
patience needed to make your own luck.
YOUR LIFE IS TALKING TO YOU
AND ALWAYS LEADING YOU IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION
The people who we most often find to be "lucky" are those that take the initiative when it comes to their happiness and major life goals. They learn how to trust their gut instincts and make good choices as they tackle challenges.
This month's lessons work like a charm to build lucky lives. As we practice decision-making techniques, along with, gratitude, persistence, patience and perseverance, we will be fully prepared for the fortunate opportunities coming our way.
When life nudges us toward the perfect path, we'll be ready and willing to listen.

Great Day Academics
To Our Kids!
Great Day shows children how their initiative and "will to do good" for themselves and for others leads to a lucky life.
When kids are conscious decision makers who can trust their intuition, they become more enthusiastic about where they are headed.
As a result, they have respect for their learning process- knowing that their current schooling and home situation is a stepping stone to greater success.
KIDS WHO LISTEN TO INTUITION,
MAKE GREAT DECISIONS
"YOU MAY NOT HAVE CONTROL OF THE LEVEL OF TALENT YOU'VE BEEN GIVEN OR THE NATURE OF YOUR GIFT. WHAT YOU CAN CONTROL IS YOUR SELF-MOTIVATION & AMOUNT OF EFFORT YOU PUT IN THAT WILL LEAD TO LUCK"

THE SCIENCE OF
Your gut feeling is an actual subtle physiological reaction that occurs in your body and carries signals to your brain. Your gut, also known as the gastrointestinal tract is loaded with bacteria which form a complex neural network called the "enteric nervous system" - sometimes referred to as the "2nd brain".
Things such as, body temperature change, breathlessness, heart rate and perspiration are your body's response to those cues in your gut when faced with big decisions.
A recent decision-making gut study looked at two different groups of adults who were asked to purchase a new car. The group of adults who were asked to make a quick intuitive decision about their car purchase were later on found to be satisfied with their purchase 60% of the time. The car buyers who had an extended amount of time to use logic and research to think carefully about their decision to buy, were later found to be happy with their purchase only 25% of the time.
Your body's intuitive responses take only seconds to show, but can take weeks to learn how trust it and follow its guidance.
YOU MAKE YOUR OWN LUCK WHEN YOU TRUST THAT THE PATH YOU ARE ON IS THE BEST PATH FOR YOU YET PREPARE FOR THE AMOUNT OF SUCCESS YOU WANT
How This Lesson Helped Me
Not trusting my intuition has led to some very low points in my career and family life. Learning to following my intuition and taking the initiative to reroute my life direction has led me to a more purpose-filled life. Listening to what my inner voice says when it disagrees with my reasoning mind was no easy task for a chronic over-thinker like myself. However, once I learned how to be more honest with what I want and combat the inevitable, steady stream of resistance that comes when you make ambitious choices, life feels more harmonious. With these lessons in my tool belt, an ever present knowing has developed that makes me more confident and trusting of how good things, people and situations show up in the luckiest of ways.
This too, is my wish for you!
