ACADEMIC COACHING
THE GOAL
Let's bridge the summer learning gap! With as little as 5 math questions and 30 minutes of reading each day over the summer, our children will not only improve their math skills, but they will also increase their desire to read and gain more confidence before the coming school year.

THE NUMBERS
Between 70% and 78% of elementary students experience a decline in math skills over summer breaks. In addition, students who do not read over the summer lose an average of 2-3 months proficiency over time. More than half of the reading achievement gap is attributed to unequal access to summer learning opportunities.
A SOLUTION
Summer Math and Reading Clubs, as well as tutoring, are great ways to prevent a summer learning loss.

"Math test scores improved over 15% ..."
Last school year, I developed a Math Intervention Program for Moore Montessori Public Charter School. Implementing a 5-question daily math solution for students in grades 4 through 6 helped improve the school's overall standardized test scores 15% in just 4 months.
